Our Center Uses A 5-Pronged Protocol:
1st Prong— Neuropsychiatric Pain Management collaboration with patient’s other treating doctors who use their own Specialty’s modalities of Rx
2nd Prong— Psychotropic Medications including antidepressant and mood stabilizing medications for treatment of psychiatric conditions co-morbid with patient’s physical conditions, injuries & ills
3rd Prong— Nutritional Supplements for bolstering health and wellness, enhancing the immune system, and improving energy
4th Prong— Being The Accessible Doctor by letting the patient know they are in the hands of a physician who cares about them. (A Plaque on my office door says: IN THIS OFFICE — THE PATIENT IS NUMBER ONE!)
5th Prong—Physical Medicine & Rehab offered in our Center’s Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Massage, & Physical Therapy Service gives a "Hands On Therapy" Approach that rounds out the Protocol.
Conditions Treated With 5-Prong Protocol:
- Failed Back and Post Discectomy and Post Surgical Pain Syndromes
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome & Other Entrapment Syndromes & Repetitive Strain Injuries
- Arthritis’ including Osteo & Rheumatoid

- Collagen Disease Pain Syndromes, especially Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

These Are Factors and Features of the 5-Pronged Protocol:
1. It will include use of pharmaceutical-grade, high-quality Nutritional Supplements made by a Premier Vitamin Company whose product line I use in my office.
2. The NS’s will be provided through my office.
3. The NS’s will be charged at Cost Plus 10% according to the W.C. Fee Schedule.
4. The Cost of the NS’s shall be no more than $125 per month(and usually less) for 3 months or less, but may be longer. I shall call or write for further authorization with submission of an Explanation For Additional Authorization Request.
5. The NS’s will be designed for the individual under Medically Necessary Specifications and not on a blanket basis.
6. The 5-Pronged Treatment Protocol grew out of my 30 years of Neuropsychiatric Treatment experience with Injured Workers with Chronic Pain and Serious Medical Conditions.
7. The Protocol’s implementation is a singular, individualized approach that to be effective, requires all 5 Prongs to be emplaced.
8. The Protocol works in a dramatic, compelling manner whose results are truly appreciated by all concerned — The Patient and Their Families; The Employer and Carrier; The Attorneys and All In The Treatment Stream.
9. If after 3 months of the Completed Treatment Time the Carrier or the Patient is not satisfied, I shall refund 50% of the NS’s Cost.
10. I provide a Weight Reduction Program for Injured Workers who have gained weight following their injury. If Causally Related to their injury, and Authorized, I can provide this at an additional cost of no more than $85/month.
